Conveniently located on Copacabana Beach, this hotel is absolutely beautiful and very clean, providing luxury without breaking the bank. The concierge staff was very friendly and helpful. Our balcony room overlooked the inviting boulevard and beach. The hotel provides attended beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge. There is a 20th floor roof-top pool where you may sun bathe or take in the sauna, or get yourself pampered with a massage. The hotel restaurant, La Finestra, was fabulous. Overall for the value Rio Internacional is exceptional.

We choose this hotel on basis of the ratingand we are not disappointed. This is absolutely a wonderful location for staying in Rio de Janeiro. When we arrived at the hotel we were upgraded to a suite that faced the ocean! Most of the rooms have side ocean view. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and to watch the sea and life on the beach and Avenida Atlântica. The hotel has a small, but nice roof top terrace, own beach facilities and serves a fine buffet breakfast. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel has its own reliable taxi service. We had 5 unforgetable days in Rio.

It is all about you: The customer!

This hotel takes customer service to a new level. From the moment of arrival to the day leaving, the staff is taking care of you in a sublime way. Sparkling wine at arrival, an extended explanation of the services/faciltities and their locations. Entering the roomm, the rooms are very nice, though most of them have side sea view. But no worries, the amazing 20th floor pool terrace with a spectacular Copacobana view makes it all up. My 2 year old son was spotted at the breakfast (a buffet breakfast, a lot better then most big chains will offer) and when coming back to the room had a little sand playing set waiting on his bed with compliments of the management. Hotel offers a reasonable priced taxi service as well. Only minor point was that my room was not always properly re-stocked for bathroom and mini-bar. I travel quite a bit and have a couple of nice metal colored cards for the big hotel-chains, but never on any location I have seen a match for this hotels service. Stay here, you can not go wrong.

Nice place to stay!

Nice enough hotel, had a nice stay. very clean hotel with nice rooms. Try to get a room on the upper floors, the views are better. The pool is a great place to spend some time.

Fantastic service!

Everyone was extremely friendly, from housekeeping to the front desk, bartenders and wait staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Must try the Brazilian mangos. Room was clean and had a great view of the beach. Roof top pool also had a great view of the beach, the statue, and Sugarloaf. The gym

was adequate. Had a great stay and would definately go back!

The best view of Copacabana Beach

The hotel is nice, clear, very good located. I’ll have the best view of Copacabana Beach - exactly on the center. At night, on the pool at roof, the night view of the Copacabana Bay is spetacular - includind at your back the Corcovado iluminated. The service of the hotel employees is the differencial, I believe. The treatment, the care and all they do to serve you is great. And you feel that they are really trying to make you feel at you home. I recommend.

Great service from the staff

Arrived cold into Rio. Found staff to be very friendly and helpful. Welcome glass of sparkling wine was a good start. Got plenty of good advise and friendly service during our stay. Highly recommended.

Get a refurbished room

When we originally checked in we were given a room which had not been refurbished recently - carpet with minor tears, old-style CRT TV, safe with a real key (don’t know when I last saw that), etc. After stating that we were disappointed with the quality of the room, the front desk immediately switched us to a recently refurbished room. It was much better - tile floor, LCD TV, electronic safe, etc. The new room made all the difference - without it, we would have been rather disappointed with the hotel. The staff is excellent - friendly (but not annoyingly so) and generally proficient in English. The location is great for access to Copacabana beach, and there are several good restaurants in the area. However, at night you don’t want to wander more than about a block away from the beach (walking up and down the street bordering the beach is fine), and the area quickly becomes rather shady. But I believe this is the case in much (most?) of Copacabana.

Very good boutique hotel

The hotel is very clean and the location is not bad. It is not located at the posh Ipanema area but this one is not too shabby. The staff is excellent and extremely accommodating. They even gave me free internet usage during my last stay at the hotel. I will definitely come back to this hotel

Traveler's tip on dining

Go to Porcao Churrascaria. This the best in town!
